The project's mission is to reclaim and amplify marginalized voices, promote inclusivity, celebrate diversity, and advance equity to drive positive societal transformation.
GOAL
The goal is to cultivate understanding through knowledge, aiming to generate constructive social change.
Challenge
People are frequently presented with a limited historical narrative, receiving information from specific points of view that mostly maintain the status quo. How might we give more historical context when we do not have political and financial power to change the physical spaces?
Solution
Provide a more comprehensive historical context and a more honest, realistic perspective on history — not through the eyes of the oppressor but through the eyes of the oppressed. Through the use of AR, we can bypass the barriers of physical spaces and overlay information that is often omitted or misrepresented.
