Streamzy is a platform for members to find, share and match movies and TV shows that are streaming with their loved ones. The goal is to allow users to save time when deciding what to watch so they can enjoy their free time together.
THE PRODUCT
Streamzy is a platform that makes it easy for users to find, share, and match movies and TV shows available on popular platforms.

Streamzy's goal is to simplify the movie selection task and prioritize the enjoyment of the films, rather than the decision-making process
THE CHALLENGE
The main challenge was that the app's purpose was not well described to the user.
To address this, we aimed to refine the user expectations and streamline their actions through:
Enhancing the app's usability without requiring an account, offering more value to the user prior to asking them to log in
Providing easy access to adding, sharing, and matching titles
Simplifying and compacting the movie detail list, making it easy to see at a glance.
Personas
Beth and Carl have weekly movie nights but struggle to choose from many options, causing frustration.
Their go-to phrase on weekends is

- "What do you want to watch?"
- "I don't know. What do you want to watch?"
With demanding jobs and three kids, they seek a stress-free and enjoyable movie night experience to maximize their limited free time.
Strategy, UX and UI
After running the heuristic evaluation of the whole app and brainstorming,  we decided to divide and conquer.
The app was divided into sections: Onboarding, sharing, and matching.

Results & prototype

Focusing on a more straightforward and accessible user flow and incorporating quick access to the watchlist and sharing titles, Streamzy users could manage and share their preferred content with others effortlessly.
A revised information hierarchy simplified the match list's organization into one accessible section.
After our changes, Streamzy was able to give their users, what they want: free time.
